Twin sisters Victoria Mark and Elena Mark were named by the UUFE Board as the Volunteers of the Month for September. Victoria loves being a part of the Broadway Meal Team and she is loved by all her fellow volunteers. Victoria and Elena also enjoy setting up the Gathering Place for potlucks, from getting tables and chairs ready to filling the water carafes and putting out the salt and pepper. They can also be found setting up the chairs for worship services. Outside of UUFE, both have been involved in local protests such as the Women’s March, the March for Our Lives, and the opposition to the ICE detention facility.
