Tonight, owing to an abundance of caution and concern about the spread of the coronavirus, the UUFE Board of Trustees voted to suspend all UUFE non-essential face-to-face activities through the end of March when the board will reassess the situation. That suspension includes, but is not limited to, Sunday Services, the UU Orientation Meetings, classes at the Learning Center, Family Connections Nights, Spirit Seekers, and Science and Society. The status of activities of groups of UUFE members meeting in locations outside of UUFE are, of course, up to those individuals.
Rev. Amy is already working with Carl Rust and others on ways for our fellowship to stay connected online with recorded or streaming services and sermons, interactive discussion groups, etc.
We will do our best to keep everyone up to date on activities as well as the status of services in April. If you have questions, you can reply to this email or contact Rev. Amy or Board President Terry Mark.
