It was a cool but dry morning on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2016, as the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Elkhart celebrated its first outdoor worship service away from its Garden Street campus. Forty-five members and friends were joined by their 12 dogs and two cats for the special service at McNaughton Park’s band shell. The service was led by the Rev. Amy DeBeck, and two members of the Ember Jar band provided special music.
After the service, the group gathered for a potluck lunch at the park’s pavilion.
