The Mitten Tree has sprouted in the foyer once again.
In 2020, the Social Justice Committee collected more than 80 items (mittens, gloves, caps, scarves, and socks) for clients of the Women’s Shelter and Faith Mission. This year we hope to collect 100 items (mittens, gloves, caps and scarves), in all sizes and genders for the Women’s Shelter.
Mike and Judy Darnel will be in the foyer on Thursdays from 4 to 5:30, exceptThanksgiving Day, to help you deck the Mitten Tree with your contributions and, perhaps, to share a hot beverage and cookie.
A container will also be available by the Gathering Place doors for donations.
