Lifespan Religious Enrichment
The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Elkhart offers a variety of classes to meet the intellectual and spiritual needs of all ages.
A multigenerational worship service begins at 10 a.m., but there are enrichment activities before and after the service.
The Adult Forum meets at 9 a.m. for a free-ranging discussion of current events and other topical items. The group is open to all adults and gathers in the Children’s House, next door to the main building.
Following the worship service, beginning at approximately 11:15 a.m., is our “second hour” Sunday classes for youth. Second hour classes are on break in the summer months of June and July. Classes will resume in September. The 2017-18 curriculum is built around all youth being part of UUFE’s LEGO Robot League..
SCIENCE AND SOCIETY
Each month, on the second and fourth Tuesday, the Science and Society group meets in the Children’s House at 1718 Garden Street (next door to the main building).
We meet to discuss a variety of interesting subjects; many times taken from the excellent curricula contained in “The Great Courses” programs. These are generally 30-minute lectures by well-known academics from a variety of colleges and universities.
